Terms of Sale

Delivery dates are best estimates.

 

If we cannot deliver on the date you have selected we will contact you ahead of time to confirm a new delivery timescales, All products will be delivered within 8 weeks of order placed (unless it is a pre-order item) or a full refund will be given.

We will not provide a specific delivery time until the day of delivery. You will receive automated delivery tracking notifications through message and/or email.

​

Cash on delivery: Please have the cash on-hand to pay the delivery driver. A person over the age of 18 must be available to receive the delivery. We will not deliver to an unattended property or location for cash customers. We will not unload the delivery until payment is received. We allocate 15 minutes for each delivery. If we are unable to deliver within this timeframe our driver will continue their delivery round and you must re-book and pay for another delivery slot.

Online payment: We are happy to deliver to an unattended property where the payment has been made online. There must be a location to the front of the property for us to unload the delivery i.e., front garden, driveway or patio. If we are unable to identify a suitable location to unload the delivery and you are not at the location to receive the delivery then you must re-book and pay for a new delivery slot.

​

Builders Bags: We aim to place/empty the builder’s bag as near as we can to where it is intended (without blocking access). Please note we do need a min of 8ft for large vehicle access and placement of the bag/logs is up to the discretion of the driver. Please note if access is insufficient for vehicle, it will be considered as a cub side delivery.

Where the Buyer has accepted, or has been deemed to have accepted the Goods, the Buyer shall not be entitled to reject Goods, which are not in accordance with the contract.

 

We aim to deliver the product with the quoted average moisture content, however our deliveries are weather dependant and will not accept liability  for moisture content increasing during transport/delivery.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. There is a 3% charge on all refunds unless otherwise agreed directly with JPS LEICESTER LTD.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items or discounted items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at FIREWOOD@JPSLEICESTER.CO.UK and send your item to: 9 MANOR HOLT CLOSE LE7 7PP.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 9 manor holt close LE7 7PP.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer.
